Is the Andechs Monastery accessible to those not inclined to long walks?

Yes, off course you can reach the monastery either by car or by bus. The walk from the parking lot to Andechs Monastery is only a few minutes.
Many people like to walk up there, because of the beautiful landscape. But if you are short on time or otherwise not able/willing to walk, then it is really no problem at all to drive up there.
Even though the beer tastes even better, when you are really thirsty :-)
