Free Beer
A friend that lives in Munich states that if you wear a traditional Bavarian outfit that you drink for free.
Is this true?

Hi Joe,
I have never heard that and it certainly isn't true.
At the Oktoberfest at least half of the persons wear the traditional Bavarian outfits Dirndl and Lederhose. It would be very costly for the beer tent owners to give all of them free drinks.
