Mühlenpark Garching

We love this beer garden!





The name Mühlenpark means "park with a mill" and the most prominent sight in the beer garden is the old watermill, that is still running in the nearby creek.

You can sit at old wooden benches and tables in the courtyard, shadowed by old chestnut trees. And if it should start raining, there are enough tables sheltered under a roof.

The "Steckerlfisch" (fish on a stick, see photo) can be smelled from far away, and we always eat a the delicious fish when we come here.

Prices are a lot cheaper than in the more famous Munich beer gardens and you can find here many families with small children.
