2 person reservation

We will going to Oktoberfest on Monday 26th 2011, but am finding it hard to make a reservation as it will only be two of us. Will we fe fine to just turn up and try and get into a tent? will this be an issue at al?

Beer tents

I am finding it hard to reserve seats at beer tents since there are only 3 in my group and most all tents require min 10 people at your table.
Can I still get in with 3 of us without a reservation or are they a must.
Also is there places to drink beer other than in the tents?

Hello Ben,

a reservation is definitely good, but it's not a must. And yes, you need to reserve in multiples of 10 persons. With 3 people, no chance ...

But, you can also go without an Oktoberfest reservation. It doesn't mean you can't go into the tents, it's just a bit harder, because you don't have a guaranteed seat and tents close for "unreserved" visitors when it gets too full.
