Bus transportation from Munich to Oberammergau and back
We would like to see Neuschwanstein Castle enroute from Munich on October 1, 2010 and get to Oberammergau by 4pm
or
Leave Oberammergau in the morning of October 3, 2010 and see Neuschwanstein Castle enroute back to Munich.
Are there buses or how would we be able to do this?

Hi Charlene,
Neuschwanstein and Oberammergau are really two wonderful places that you'll enjoy so much !
If you want to take a bus, there is a nice one-day tour that'll take you to Castles Neuschwanstein and Linderhof as well as the town of Oberammergau.
If you prefer to go on your own, it's better to take the train from Munich Hauptbahnhof. Here's a page I've written a about public transport to Neuschwanstein.
