Hello,





2010 will be my first trip to Oktoberfest, and I am curious about food and drinks.

Are food and beer options only available inside the tent, or will there be vendor outside the tents as well?

Hi Rich,

there definitely won't be any shortage of food or drinks at the Oktoberfest :-)

Apart from the the tents, you can visit the beer gardens outside the tents. Also many smaller "tents" sell food and beer, but don't have the music. Therefore they are much less crowded and you can always get a seat.

Throughout the part of Oktoberfest, where the fun rides are located, you'll find many stalls that sell different foods and snacks, as well as soft drinks, coffee and even cocktails.
