Garages near the Marienplatz

We will be near Munich in May and would like to visit Marienplatz to see the dancers in the tower.





We need to find a Garage for the car near by since we are traveling with children. Also, does the Glockenspiel go on every hour?

Hi Renate,

there are a few underground parking lots near Marienplatz. You will see the signs leading you to them (big white P on blue ground).

Some of them already have a traffic management system where the sign will either show "geschlossen" in red if the basement garage is full or a number in green to show you how many spaces are left.

The Glockenspiel plays only at 11, 12 and 17h. Be there in time, because Marienplatz tends to get very crowded when the Glockenspiel goes on.
