Are kids allowed in beer gardens in Munich?

Hi Dianne,
Yes, kids are allowed in beer gardens. A Bavarian beer garden is just like a restaurant, with the difference, that it's outside.
You can drink and eat there like in any other restaurant. Usually there is also a section in the beer garden, where it's allowed to bring your own food - as long as you buy the drinks there.
Most beer gardens even have a big playground for children.
