Support Documents - Tourist Visa
Hello Marion,
My name is Fredrick (Indian citizen), am a student doing my Ph.D. and staying at Konstanz, Germany.
I have my resident permit (till Dec'2012). I would like to invite one of my friend from India to visit me as a tourist for a month. What are all the supporting documents, I need to give her as an invitee? I have gone through few of the German sites for tourist visa. I have seen the following things: An invitation letter and Copy of my passport and resident permit.
At this juncture, I would like you to ask the following:
(1) As i am getting scholarship for my Ph.D., do i need to send her a copy of my scholarship letter, which was given by the University?
(2) Do i need to send the copy of my rental agreement, as she is going to stay at my place for a couple of weeks? if so, are there any restriction on the size of the house?

Unfortunately I cannot answer such detailed questions about supporting documents for German tourist visa for your friend.
Please ask her to go to the nearest German consulate in her home country and get detailed instructions from them.
