Table reservations

Hello,

I plan on going to Oktoberfest and as I saw from your previously answered question a minimum requirement for a table reservation is 10 people.
If I do go early with my cousin, that I plan on going with, can we sit down at any table for the time being or are all the tables reserved?
Also, are there tables there for anybody to sit down to drink and eat? Thank you.
P.s, I don't want to travel from California if I go to a tent and if you don't have a table its pointless.

Hi John,

there are always some unreserved tables. Mostly in the middle part. But you could also sit down at one of the reserved tables. I.e. you arrive at 11 a.m. and the table is reserved at 4 p.m. Then you're allowed to sit there until the "owners" arrive.
Check my tips what to do if you don't have a reservation.

If you you're unsure to travel without a reservation, you can buy one for you and your cousin at a ticket broker; but they usually cost much more than the 23€ for two beers and 1/2 chicken.

THANKS!

That did help a lot! Thank you. One more question that I have is, is it possible to get a food voucher that day or do we need to get one in advance?

No food vouchers needed

Hi John,

you don't need to buy food vouchers, you can always pay the waitress with cash.
Food vouchers is only for the reservations, and only to ensure a "minimum consumption".

Have Fun!
