I am a hardware engineer from a small firm in India and wish to visit Germany. I have enough funds to do so and also own property in India which shows I will 100% return to my country at any cost.
May I be eligible to get a visitor's visa to Germany? Thanks for your advice.

Hello Mohammad,
as an Indian citizen you will need a visa to Germany (better: Schengen, because the visa will be valid for all Schengen countries).
According to the German Foreign Office, prerequisites to apply for a short stay visa are the following:
- evidence that you have enough money to cover the costs of your stay in Germany
- travel health insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000, which is valid in all Schengen countries
-demonstrate the willingness and ability to return to your own country
According to your question you only need to get the health insurance to be eligible for a visit visa.
Final approval can only be given from the German embassy or consulate nearest to your residence.
