Student visa

Currently I am an international student in England, I am thinking of getting German language course in Germany.

Can I apply for the visa from here or do I have to go back to my home country?

If yes, then what is the procedure for that?

Hi Bishal,

usually you need to go to your country of residence. If you're currently residing in UK, you should be able to go to the German embassy or consulate nearest to you.

I have described the requirements for getting a visa here:
germany-work-student-visa.html.

If you need additional instructions you can buy this ebook with detailed Schengen Visa instructions.

Even though you are already in UK, you might still need travel health insurance, because England isn't part of the Schengen countries.
