Visa for Nepalese Citizen?

I'm in the British Army but I have a Nepalese passport. Do i need a visa to enter German to visit my family?

As the UK isn't one of the Schengen countries, you'll have to apply for a tourist visa for Germany, when coming here.

You might or might not present a Medical Insurance to get your visa, this depends whether or not your current insurance will cover travel as well.
